Mark & Stacy are born again followers of Jesus Christ who have been married since 2009. Mark grew up all over the country and Stacy spent her first 34 years of life in Tennessee. They met at a small deli in Tennessee and after marrying moved to Florida in 2010 in order for Stacy to pursue a degree in occupational therapy. They lived in Daytona Beach Shores for 5 years and on the coast of Oregon for a year. They moved from Oregon to the St. Petersburg, FL area in 2016 after discovering that there were over 9 abortion clinics in the area. Once they arrived, they quickly learned that there was a desperate need for frontline workers at the abortion mills as most of the time NO ONE was present on the sidewalks, especially on weekdays. At the same time, in her work as an Occupational Therapy Assistant in Long-Term Care facilities, Stacy became keenly aware of the lack of spiritual support offered and evangelization occurring among the residents. Both of these issues led to the planting of the seeds for Life Plea Ministries in Mark & Stacy’s hearts— Seeds which took root in the Spring of 2019 when Life Plea Ministries began.
Life Plea has grown in ways that neither of them could have imagined back then! Despite changes in ministry locations and direction, whether from the Lords guidance or by changes in society, Life Pleas mission continues to remain the same- spreading the glorious Gospel of Jesus Christ in accordance with scripture.
Together, Mark & Stacy have a passion to serve Jesus Christ in whatever capacity He calls them! Their hearts are on fire to do justly, to love mercy, and to walk humbly with our God (Micah 6:8)!
- Mark is a Licensed Community Association Manager in the state of Florida. He has been an Ordained Independent Minister in good standing through the National Association of Christian Ministers since 2020.
- Stacy earned a Bachelor of Science degree from Tennessee Wesleyan College in Human Services (2000) and an Associates of Science degree in Occupational Therapy Assistant from Keiser University (2012). She is an author and her work can be found at http://www.asyourise.com
